Thank you to all our families and our staff for the effort each one has made to make our new school year startup as smooth as possible! Huntington Hills is welcoming a large and diverse student population this fall and we are looking forward to spending the year in teaching and learning.

Our first School Council meeting will be September 12 at 6:15 in our school library. All are welcome to attend, and you do not have to be in a formal position on council to attend these meetings. If you would like to be a part of a great group of volunteers adding your voice and ideas to our school planning, please join us!

Mrs. Maber has set up our annual Terry Fox Run for the afternoon of September 20. Please feel free to join us and walk or run with your child this afternoon. Kindergarten families are welcome to return with their child and attend this event.

September 25 will be our Orange Shirt day ceremony and we encourage all students and staff to wear orange on this day.

Please consider joining us on September 26 for our parent information evening followed by School Council's free Welcome Back BBQ. Our information meeting starts at 4:00pm and the BBQ begins at 5:00pm. More information will be coming out in School Mesenger about this event.

Please remember that there is no school for students on September 27 or 30.
