🎉 You're Invited to the Huntington Hills Parent Information Night and Welcome Back BBQ! 🍔🌭

Let’s kick off the new school year together!
Join the Huntington Hills School Council for our annual Welcome Back BBQ—a fun-filled evening of community, connection, and delicious food.

This year we will have special guests Mahegun Tails with a cultural Indigenous Interactive presentation at 4:00 pm. This performance includes teaching on how the drums are made, tuning, social songs, Ceremonial songs, and its cultural significance. Participants will also learn about songs through guided, oral practice!

✨ Come meet your child’s teachers- 5:00 in classrooms
✨ Learn more about the exciting year ahead

✨ BBQ- 5:30 outside on the playground compound
✨ Mingle with other families and school staff
✨ Enjoy great food and good vibes!

📅 Date & Time: Thursday, September 24, 2025, 5:30 PM (immediately following the parent information session)
📍 Location: Huntington Hills School
⏰ Volunteer shifts:  4:30–6:30 PM (just 30–45 minutes of your time!)

There will be a Grade 6 Outdoor School meeting directly after the BBQ.  The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 pm.  All grade 6 parents and students are invited to attend this mandatory meeting.
